xspower intercooler
I have been reading alot about these and I have not run across anything negastive. Am I missing something? Second question is has anyone that has ordered one been able to install it with the rotax power pipe? I don't want to cut a hole in my hull for the rear exaust.

nothing negative bc there's next to zero real world extensive testing. you've maybe read of 2-3 people with them.... i for one have yet to have a totally positive experience with it, but intend on testing the unit back to back against a Riva/Vortech intercooler.
as far as the power pipe.... sure it COULD work... depends how u mount and install the intercooler. you are all on your own for mounting, pipes, couplers, etc.

thanks shibby. do you think you will have that testing done by mud bug? I really would like to have it put in by then.

i plan to have testing done either today.... or this coming weekend. going to run a few more baselines with the Riva intercooler now... and if i have time to swap intercoolers today and get back in the water i will.
there's one person that i know that is running the ebay intercooler with HUGE success. i'm hoping it works out that way for me as well with my test findings.

brad2510,
It fits easily with the PPG PowerPipe... it even fits with the stock exhaust once the plastic resonator is removed.
I'll have pics Wednesday.

Their isn't anything negative to say about the xspower intercooler. I'm very happy with it! The biggest problem is installing the plumbing without any leaks.

I'm happy with mine. Can't beat the bang for buck.
When I had my stage 1 I put a 14/19 in it for S/G's and I was running 7800-7850.
I now have the XSPOWER IC and I'm turning a 14/18.5 with a mm steeper at 8100. It feels like I have some more rpm so I'm going to repitch to 14/19 later. I bet I gained 300-350 rpms from it.
I'm still using a stock SC wheel and I bet these would shine with more air. I'm sure the Riva might be better but for 900 more bucks!!! not worth it. I can get XSPOWER IC, new RR wheel and injectors for the same price as a Riva IC. Which would go faster ?
