Water leak trouble! HELP!!!
Put in the riva stage 2 and went ridding. All of the sudden water getting pumped out. Stopped took the seat off and there was at least 15 Gal. in the hull. Let the bilge do its job, fired back up gassed it to about 5000 rpm's and in less than 3 seconds about 7 inches again. Could not see where the water came from since I didn't let it pump it all out the first time. So this time I let it all pump out and now I can’t get it to leak. Got home and pulled everything except the rear exhaust, and pulled on it pretty hard seamed tight. Where would have been the likely place for water to come in? If I got something in my pump could it have put so much pressure in the Gullet that the seal let that much water come in? Thanks!

What's with you TN people trying to sink your skis?!
It probably has to do with intercooler block off not properly sealed. Nothing else on a Stg 2 would leak if your exhaust is sealed well.
That is unless you messed with NOPAS and somehow it is leaking.

Did you check the distributor ?
Have someone back it in the water with you on the ski with it on the trailer. Have the back seat off so you can look into the engine compartment while the ski is backing down in the water. See if water leaks in from the OPAS distributor from inside the hull.
PLEASE POST IF IT IS. I think I bumped mine distributor and the only thing holding the gasket in is 2 screws with no nuts on them.

He has an RXP no "distributor"
Check the carbon ring area. Maybe the boot there got bumped?
Fill the hull with water (make sure it doesn't go into the intake) and see if water is leaking out anywhere.
If it only leaks when running it could be the carbon seal or a water supply hose not secured properly.

Thanks guys. I guess I will get a carbon ring. There is no water comming out when I fill up the hull. If it is the carbon ring could it have been from something in the pump and the ring be ok. Right before the bilge came on it felt like I may have got something small in the pump. A little vibration and then the bilge came on. I cannot make it leak for the life of me now. But on the other hand I don't want to be 100 miles from the ramp and it break totally. Do they break totally and sink skis or just a leak under load?

fill the hull up with water over the carbon ring, but below your air intake and run the ski. See if any water starts comming out from anywhere. Some people have reported leaks at the carbon seal only when the engine is running.
