Jerry: oil filter idea
Jerry:
Is it possible that you could put together a package for the store that contains an oil filter and the 3 "O" rings that are required when doing 4-tec oil changes (deeply discounted of course
)?
That would be a cool kit- I would buy those.

I have thought about this, but i get my parts thru Riva and they don't exactly give me a price on the OEM parts that would be competitive.

Do you change any "O" rings when you do your oil changes?
Do you know that there are 3 "O" rings there?
I often thought of using the old ones over... but then, why take the chance for a few bucks.

You of all people should be changing them every time. All you gotta do is go pull some off the shelf!
What are we going to do with you, Shib

Since your ski treated you so well the other day; you should reward it with a nice new set of oil filter "O" rings...

I've only had to change my oil once, and I dont really remember the procedure. I didnt remember 3 O rings though.

There's 2 on the cover (cap) and one little fat one on the cover bolt.
I think the manual says to replace them every time- but maybe that's overkill.
Hell, Shibb's was smoking me with his "old" O-rings and they seemed to be holdin' up just fine
