completely relative subjective question.... only one person can answer that for you... YOUR dealer, the dealer that will be doing the work in the event you have a problem.
some dealers will close their eyes and pretend they see nothing in there but stock parts. Some dealers will call BRP and say i have a machine with this problem, can we put a claim thru, and then somehow it slips that there's some goodies under the seat.
consult your dealer and become his friend

I think if I would go into ASK POWERSPORTS with my ski the way it is they would void my warrenty on everything, even tho before I started my mods they said it was fine just as long as I didnt go into the engine...but they are lying sacks of shit over there...soooo....
You should ask your dealer before anything!

I`m a whitie!
I always tip cause the next time they will go the extra mile to do the job right. In other words it won`t just be about time units but about pride in their work. The cat who`s doin my charger I`m flipping a bill to. I know it will be sealed and my oil pumps changed. But I`ll give it to him when he`s pulling it in. Thats the catch.
You may say its not right but thats the way the world works. NO PAY,,,NO PLAY!
And this is also why I paid 49 bucks (and change) to get a key last Wednesday. They dropped what they where doing to do it. And they (mechanics-I was one) just don`t do that for anyone. Trust me.

I'm a whitey who understands the wisdom of spiffing. For example, I know that manufacturers screw dealers on warranty labor rates. So I offer to make up the difference. It really helps in getting quality work done.
