Does anyone have any maps? I would like to burn a copy of the cd's. Hoping to get different areas and then we could all share them amongst the members. thanks

bit torrent
You need the mapsource so look for that.
Then you can find people out there who have made their own maps. I found some for Japan and S. America There has to be some for N. America, I just haven't looked.

You cant copy garmins maps illegally, at least anymore.
The best you could do is buy a mapsoruce product with a friend, each cd you buy gets two keys.
Then you have to register your gps , and those maps to the two different gps's
then it links your serial number (whcih it gets by itself) to those maps, and once you use it twice, it's dead. will not upload and unlock on any other gps.
im tryin to find someone around me who will split the cost, but nobody will
Garmin really does do a good job of keeping that stuff locked down

I can't imagine a gps will not accept maps from the older mapsource software?
I actually bought the streets 2 years ago and it doesn't have anything that you are talking about. Now the blue charts is a different story.
