Nujet 3-blade Seadoo Prop - Possibly July '06
Brought to my attention by Dr. Len. I made bunch of phone calls to Dennis Kirk, Nujet direct, etc.... no one knew what was going on with it and the price and part number is listed for the RXP/RXT. Three available props:
Nujet: THE DESTROYER
Nujet 3-blade Stock
Nujet 3-blade Limited
Nujet 3-blade Modified
it's listed in the catalogs priced and with part numbers $189.00!! I'm sure that will changebut the product does not exist
Spoke to a guy at Nujet, he chucked and said it's still in development, toward end of summer he says. Distributors have in their computers that the product arrival is July '06
Hope their 4-stroke props pickup where their top speeed oriented 2-stroke props left off.

They have been working on that prop since last summer. What is taking these companies so long to get products to market.
Just like that guy with the metal washers and skegs

Jerry how are those coming as I really want to do both.
Do you think those of us that need the washers in the next few weeks should wait or go to Les?

I'm hoping to have some washers in the next couple of weeks.

Nujet = crap holeshot
It usually has stronger midrange than a Solas, but rarely more top end.

It will be interesting...
From my old Polaris experience the Nu-Jets equaled crap holeshot (as Jarrett said) but were easily the fastest props (way faster than Skat's and fairly faster than Solas)...
Funny how different manufacturers pumps respond differently to different style props...

You guys are right The Nujet lots of top end. Shitty holeshot. Went to a Solas. Nice holeshot but I miss that top end. And my gas mileage went to shit with the solas.

I really liked the midrange on the Nujets on my GPR and STXR. The Solas props usually have decent holsehot, but a flat midrange on those platforms.
What I forgot about in my first post is that we will be comparing a 4 blade Solas to a potentially 3 blade Nujet. In that case, the Nujet could be considerably faster. Along with the monster midrange, that might be interesting

What Jarrett said ... the NuJet is a totally unique design. Comparing a NuJet (for a GPR) side by side with a Solas (for GPR) is interesting ... I ran both on my GPR and I will tell you that if NuJet makes an impeller for the RXP I would buy it and try it. Truth is that we have pretty damn good holeshot already and if any prop could gain us significant top end, it would be the NuJet. I wish it was out already ...
