    What do you guys use to cut the hull?? A grinder? Which tool will make this easier/ safer??

    I used a RotoZip with the Zip Mate disc grinder attachment. A regular disc grinder will work as well.

    I used a simple Dremel diamond wheel

    whatever you end up using, keep a shop vac running to catch the dust.

    OK, i have a grinder i'm, i also have a dremel but did'nt think it could handle this job..

    hello. just gathering al the info i can before i start my build. just curious as to why only the back right mount has a metal backing plate? it doesnt look like the front right has anything behind it and there are no cluts in the left of the hull so it doesnt seem to have a backing plate either. thanks.

    All four corners have the backing plates the right rear is the only one that needs to be moved further aft the other three stay in the stock location.
