Used bombardier lube to clean engine in truck.
Has anyone else tried to use this spray on their vehicles to clean the engine? It removed light dirt and debris. Does anyone think this was bad to do?

nope but you just wasted a $10 bottle of Bomb Lube when you could of went to autozone got some nice Orange engine cleaner that will strip oil and everything else off and then leave a nice shine for $3.50 but it wont hurt!

Someone told me that it might not be a good idea that the stuff would catch on fire from the engine heat. I said that it couldn't because I use it on my skis all the time, then they said yeah but there is always some water sloshing around in a pwc.
And that it would build up even more gunk.

yea see that's the bad part... i take a wet rag and wipe down everything under the hood, then take the lube and mist it over everything and wipre again to even it out... looks pretty until after a week all the dirt and dust clings to it.
so what's this engine "under the hood" cleaner you use? .... you hose down the engine with it, or just spray and wipe?

Is there a detailer spray that is available with that? I just don't want water to be left anywhere after hosing down.
