Wedge install...
Pretty darn easy I know...but, if I install a 2.5 it will give me less of a holeshot and more top end right?

you won't lose hole shot... you just may find that you need to put your weight forward on top of the handlebars for your holeshot because it gets on plane so much quicker and tends to jump out of the water nose high.
Add a pump wedge and flip the bushing on the bottom of the steering nozzle would be my recommendation

pressure holds it in...and while my pump is out I may have to flip my bushing...I forgot 05lYD did you flip yours all the way?? or did you move it to the middle?? doesnt it take away the wedge basically? I may have to search for PRs post on this...hmmmm

BTW, if you have not already installed the new one you should put the pump and new ring back in the freezer ( front porch) for 30 min. and it can then be pushed into place easily.

yeah..it gets pretty warm here in the summer. Imagine this...having almost 22 hours of sunlight, it gets up to about 80F during the day and doesnt get below 60F at night, 3/4 of the summer doesnt see rain, and there are always ladies at the park where I put in my craft.
