cheap rxp mods
i have about $500 and i want to put a few small mods on my rxp. i was thinking ppg repitch solas (270), ppg power pipe (150), and riva BOV (160). what do you guys think? i am def. getting the prop and BOV..i wanted the power pipe for the sound more than anything else. in the future i plan on doing opas block offs, sponsons, grate..that sorta stuff. opinions neone? btw i am looking for top speed but sont want to loose ne acceleration.

I think your first coins should be spent on a bow spray deflector, OPAS blockoffs, Riva grate and a PPG pitched Solas.

You can achieve a similar sound to the powerpipe with PPG's or your own free flow exhaust that replace/bypassses the resonator. PPG sells that pipe for under $15. I agree with the OPAS block off's and definitely the Riva intake grate and Solas. Join ROCX and you'll get future savings and all these I've listed for about $450 shipped and that should include the $30 membership fee which gives you discounts down the road, T-shirt, and a cool card.

i usually ride in a river that has a lot of floating crap..like sticks, logs, basketball hoops..that sorta stuff. i was worried with riva grate ill suck up something every 3 seconds. has nebody had ne problems with the aftermarket grates sucking up a large amount of junk. as for the opas block offs will it be ok to remove opas with stock sponsons?

You won't suck up any more stuff with the new grate than stock and it will stop the cavitation and hook up much better.I would also consider the Power filter it sure makes a differance and as far as the free flow exhaust just stop at a muffler shop an pick up a 2 1/2 inch by 8 1/2 inches long piece of tubing works just as good cost me $3.00.

so you guys are saying get the free flow exhaust instead of the power pipe...
well whats is the difference between the power pipe and the free flow? god knows there's a huge price difference.

I'll tell you next week as to the difference, but you wanted cheap mods and I just saved you over $100. Of course I'd prefer the powerpipe. Hear it flows better for when you have more mods.
