Should I??
I have a SS wear ring....Solas prop....on my ski with mods in sig....Should I shell out the 300 bucks for the triple bearing mod? is it worth it?? Will I hurt anything with out it? Basically I am asking do I really NEED it, or is it just a want option?? Thanks!

You want it!
Your options are to run the pump without it and risk your $220 impeller grinding into your $240 SS wear ring.

By what's on his signature, he doesn't even have a Stage 1.
- Why does he need the triple bearing mod?
- Did BRP do such a bad job on the pump that it needs to be replaced?
Just wondering as i see everybody pushing this mod and would like to know what makes the stock one bad.
Has there been multiple failures by forum members on the stock pump?

The 03 pumps were absolute crap(BRP letting the consumer do the R&D)
....04 on they were built stronger....
