No SC nosie?
I have 2 '05 RXP's and I have noticed that I can hear the SC very good while running on one and the other I don't hear it at all. Is this normal? The one that I can hear seems to be faster out of the hole but the on the top end they are about the same speed. Any ideas?

You can't go by noise. What are the RPM's on each ski?

I am saying I can hear the whine of the SC on one and nothing on the other. The one I hear it on is running about 7950 ish rpm the one I don't hear anything on is about 8000.

No SC Noise
We have the same with our RXT. There has been no SC noise from first start up on day one. We never knew you could hear it until we listened to others. All I can say is that it doesn't seem to be an issue. We always get 8100 rpm and have raced many other Skis and always compare well. We owned a n NA 4-Tec before this and this goes MUCH better
(67 hours so far). I must say, though, that I love the sound of the SC and wish ours made the noise!

I pulled of the intake hose and the SC will not turn by hand so I am guessing this is ok.

If you are turning 7900+ RPM's your SC is fine.
You would know when your SC goes out. Your max RPM's will be 6200
