How much pitch can I add or remove?
I have already repitched my 14/19. I took out about 1.5mm from each blade but it seems I need to take out some more as I am only getting 7850 rpms with a Riva Stage2. How much more can I take out? Thanks!

The Riva Stage 2 uses a Solas 15/20R. That's probably why your RPM's are off.

u have a complete stage 2 kit and can't spin the 14/19?
u've checked oil level, wear ring, intercooler couplers, lock off plate, etc for any air leaks?

John, sounds like your 14/19 is out of whack. You really need to try a 15/20
A 15/20 is going to be 1+ mph faster than a 14/19 at the same RPM's

My oil level is almost touching the lower bend, and I just redid all my couplers and stock IC block off to make sure I don't have an air leak. I think it is because of the water temperature here, plus our high humidity. Normal water temp is at 80-85 degrees. I also changed to a new wear ring 2 weeks ago. When my RXP was stock I could only spin the stock prop to about 7850 as well.
Do you guys think I can spin that 15/20 at least to the same rpm's as the 14/19? And my question still remains, how much more millimeters can I raise the trailing edge? Thanks!

John, taking your climate into consideration you may just stick with the 14/19 and try taking 1 more mm out of the trailing edge.

Ok, thanks!! Is that the max I can go? That would put me at 2.5mm higher than the original 14/19 pitch. By the way, my impeller has been trued and balanced by Island Racing in NY.
