billy, i think you are going to have interference with the pump if it's standing up like that. at least with the 2" extension

No 2" extension on his. It should clear.

I got it to clear with the 2" extension with a little sanding on top of the sensor.

ditto, I'm not running a 2" extension. I did a dry fit and there is plenty of clearance. I also looked at the position of it and it looks to have enough clearance also if I choose to run a 2" extension.

Nothing yet. Thats where I normaly run the nylon tube for the pump pressure gauge.

I spent about 30 minutes trying to figure out how to adapt the speedo to the rideplate before realizing how much I hated dealing with it everytime I swapped pumps etc.. There is a 1/4" plastic shroud around the wire that fit very tight in the hole that was drilled. A little glue and it was a done deal.

    • Finger throttle
    • Run water lines+strainer
    • Install Water Temp and Pressure Gauges
87mm nozzle installed to steering nozzle

Wrapped half of it to protect if from teeth on vice.

    De-bur edges

    Fuel Filler hose installed

    Saturday

    Gas Tank Vent Installation
    Super Duper Easy

    1. Removed Gas Tank ventilation tubing and both check valves from RXP
    2. Removed Rubber Grommets from Sea-Doo Hull [you will only need 1]
    3. Removed Yamaha GPR Oil Tank Check valve and tubing from left side of GPR hull under cowling
    4. Installed Rubber Grommet from Sea-Doo Hull where hole is from where "Oil Tank Tubing" came thru
    5. RXP "Out" check valve [Blue in color] will go where the old oil tank check valve tubing went.
    6. RXP "In" check valve [Black and White] will tie in where the Yamaha water trap and inlet tubing goes. Still utilizing the GPR water trap [inside the hull near just behind the storage bucket and water shroud under the black cowling to help keep the water out of the inlet.
    7. RXP Gas Tank vent hose to top of RXP Gas tank nipple near fuel pressure regulator
    8. Strap up the tubing with a Yamaha release zip tie that held the oil tank vent check valve and place it in the holder near the right side air vent in the hull.

Piece of Cake !!! the RXP Gas Tank Vent System is now identical on how it was on the RXP and it still utilizes the GPR water trap. Took a total of 10 minutes.

Complete RXP Gas Tank Vent Tubing

Removed GPR oil tank check valve and tubing

Installed grommet from inside, then install blue checkvalve from inside
