Question about SS wear ring and bearing mods...
I did the SS wear ring last summer and put about 10+ hours on my ski with no problems. Do you guys think it is necessary to send the pump off to have the bearings put in? Anyone see the thing fail with the stock bearings?

Send the pump off John. Its best to have the tripple bearings when running the SS wear ring.

You definatly need to do the mod.You will get the shaft deflection under hard acceleration, you could mess up a good prop and possibly cause other damage. The mod is well worth the money.
