Stock intercooler VS Riva intercooler
I always said there would be a boost pressure drop when switching to an external intercooler. I was WRONG!
Last week while running Carey's ski with the stock IC i was running 7.3-7.4 psi boost with the stock SC impeller. I bolted the Riva intercooler up and just got off the water and am now running 8.0-8.1 psi
Just goes to show you how restrictive the stock IC is.

this brings something to mind. all you guys running a gtx with external IC you should really try to get the flame arrester out of the intake manifold, or switch to the RXP/RXT manifold. That thing has got to be restrictive.
