How many hours...?
During the season how many hours do you guys go untill you change your oil? Like how many hour intervals? Last year I ran my ski the whole year without changing the oil. About 40 hrs. whats everyone else doing?

I'll probably do mine at the start of every season. I'll get about 40 per season.
Last season we got them broken in and I changed the oil at 11 hours. They are 19 or 20 now. Should I change the oil before the first time out since it has sat all winter?

I got my oil changed when they did the winterization, I dont think you need to change it agian if you did it before you put it up for winterization.

I'm new to the four-strokes but I would change the oil at the beginning and end of season. Might be overdoing it, but at about $2 a quart of oil, why not.
There's a thread on the recommended intervals of changing the oil and I believe it was written by one of the admins (Mike).

well you are suppose to get a hundred hours on your oil on the four strokes. That is when I change mine and haven't had any problems at all. I put at least 60 or more hours on it in a riding season.

Now that they are fixed Ill prob do 15-20 hr intervals. I mean its cheap and easy as heck to change it right

Keeping good oil and changing it often, do you think this could help with keeping the clutch in beter shape? Maybe prolong the life of it?
