New ECU Results
All of you who got the reflashed ECU (or bought a new one), post your results including what level of mods you have and the pitch and brand of prop you are running.

Franko, My 04 RXP has the Riva SC impellar, and air inlet, RR IC,d ECU, (obvious), pipes, R&D grate, sponsons, drop nozzle, and wedge, plus the Skat pump and nozzle mods. I turned easy 8500 plus at 73 mph at Havasu, but removed the GH 14/18.5 to not blow it up, went to a stock 15/20R until I get the head done, and turn 71.5 at 7950 now (safe is cheaper before the valves come in). I'm really curious as to the final as it is strong now, just a case of getting it propped.

I'll let Jarrett give the details, but with his 2004 RXP with basically the same set up you have (minus the wedge, nozzle & pump work) with the Impros 14/20 in it, he was running 75-76 at 8350-8400 RPM. Air temp. was ~70 but I can't remember water temp.

Jarrett or Frank, your results are without a wedge and with the stock nozzle? The Skate nozzle rings are an easy way to tune a bit, just wondered if you have them on Jarrett's ski.

Franko, Thanks for the reply. I'd like to add the Havasu speed was with an 82 nozzle at 70 deg air, 58 water and altitude of about 800 feet. The 71.5 speeds were with an 83 nozzle at same temps but at 800 and 1300 feet. Was the prop you used 14/20 a hulk bend on a 14/19 or a softening on a 15/20? I don't want to repitch until Nils does the head, but I'm curious about using the 14/19 up or the 15/20 down??? I'm figuring on 75-76 when finished , still with the stock cam. Terry

We have a wedge we were going to try last weekend, but it was too windy and choppy. We do not have any Skat nozzles. We will probably give that a try in the near future. But Jarrett is going to get the RR SC impeller. So we might wait until then to fine tune.

The 14/20 is a Solas with Impros repitch. I bought it from Dave and he pitched it before I got it. I don't know what it was before the repitch but I think it was a 14/19.

Sticking my nose in one last time, I did a lot of porpoising with the wedge, but added the Riva pro block-offs and they settled it down.

Terry, keep sticking your nose in
. We are trying to determine the best set ups with these new ECU's, and the more input, the better. Yeah, I have the pro series blockoffs, but Jarrett hasn't installed his yet. He's probably going to get Jerry's blockoffs at some point though.
