Funny story that brought this about. I think it is just all around weird for people to call it "pop", but my roommate insists that a majority of people in the US call "soda" that. I know for a fact that in most major cities it is called "soda" though.
Prove me right! or not...

I call it pop...most do here in the midwest (ohio)
or what about soda pop???

lol, this topic was on the radio today with people from all over calling in. In the midwest it is called pop, in the south everything is called coke. Everywhere else it seems to be called soda. Personally I call it pepsi, because that is what I drink.

Anything dark is Coke except Dr. Pepper which is Dr. Pepper and clear drinks are Sprite

I used to call them all Coke. Now I call them all soft drink.
