Which gps unit....?
Im gonna but a gps unit and had decided on a garmin etrex legend c. After doing some research I came across a few that interested me. The etrex cx has expandable memory which is good. Then the Magellan SporTrak color is really nice too.
Anyone care to reccomend a few?
I want one with a color screen for sure, other than that other options are just extras. Price around $180-250....and that's ebay price!
So far I found the etrex legend cx for $250 sihpped and the Magellan SporTrak for $200 shipped.

Look at the Garmin 76C and then you can get the glovebox mount for the RXT as well.

What are you looking for in a GPS besides the price obviously. If you are just wanting speed checks and real basic, any of the Etrex series will do. I used to have an Etrex Legend and liked it but wanted more features when I upgraded.

It floats too!
If you have a GTX hull, it HAS to be the Garmin 76 series. Not only is it waterproof - but it FLOATS too (not all of 'em do!!). You can always but the glovebox cover later
I also think the screen is bigger, which deginitley helps at speed
We bought a Garmin branded (instead of Sea Doo) to save money.
