    Removing scratches from gelcoat

    Anyone have a step by step on scratch removal My hull has a few small scratches on the gelcoat that I'd like to fix

    It depends on how deep the scratches are, on an older GPR I was able to remove small scratches and imperfections and make big scratches smaller by wet sanding the area with 1500 sand paper and then I used a 3M polish that I got from my local body shop parts supplier. It turned out great for me. I can get the exact name of the polish at home if interested. The guys at the body shop say that the polish makes a great painter out of anybody.
