Anyone know of a cheap insurance in Florida>?
I started out with statefarm since I have a policy with them but down here you need to have a boat with them and then you can add a jet ski.
Went to boatus-insurance.com and the quote was $1,239 for the year! I know we have a yar round season here but damn! I've seen people here paying $330-400 for half a season!
Anyone know of a good, cheap insurance carrier in southern Florida?

I use proggressive too. It cost me about $500 per year for 2 2005 skis.
They also cover the trailer and it include road side assistance while trailering.

Can I ask what are the policy coverage?
I still got a $1,354 quote for the year!
$50,000/$100,000bodily injury
$50,000/$100,000 property damage
$25,000/$50,000 unisured boaters
$5,000 medical payments
Even at the minimums the policy was still $1,266
I even tried insuring myself only and still got the same quote

Guys, if you are even somewhat well off, consider an umberella policy. An umberella policy is relatively cheap and provides extra protection over all of your policies (auto, home, PWC). Good piece of mind IMO.
And O/T: if any of you reject UM/UIM coverage on your auto policies, you are flirting with disaster. WAY too many illegals running around out there with little or no coverage. I've seen too many instances lately of people ruined financially because they were injured by a person with no insurance.
