'04 GTX SC RPM
Red Devil or Pale Rider,
I'm installing a Riva PowerFilter on my friends '04 GTX SC and will then tweak his impeller for max performance. No other engine mods... just OPAS removal, Riva grate, and a 2.5 wedge. What max RPM should I shoot for?
Thanks guys,
Jeff

I just talked to Greenhulk about this via PM...he told me to do the mods take it out and see if you are hitting the rev. Limiter of 7650 rpms...if so then pitch it, but he said you want to stay as close to 7650 rpms as possible.

Yep, ideally you want to see 7600 RPM's but not run hard against the limiter.
Just like on a RXP, 8100 is optimum. Solid 8150+ is a no go!

By the way Jerry, the filter will be coming from you. I'm waiting to see if another friend is stepping up for one also... not to mention my list

when I go out to the lake and I ride I usually ride the entire day...so if I take it out once I get my intake on, and I am hitting the rev limiter can I keep riding or should I bring it in and send the prop to you right away or can I keep riding for the entire day??

Sorry, I totally missed this one
yeah my ski was at 7600 and if I held it there longer it would reach 7650, even with the re-pitched prop, but that sucker was running good. Jerry said it right, 7600...PR...
