Replacing the fuel sensor on 1997 GP 1200
Is it possible replace the fuel sensor tower that goes into the gas tank without taking the handle bars and front hood off?
I can't tell if there is going to be enough room to manuever the tower up high enough to clear the tank.
If you have done this before, please let me know.

Drain the tank, it makes it much easier. I managed to get one back in by myself when the tank was empty.
