Can the word Ported and Reliable...
Be put in the same sentence? I am looking to go to a faster setup over the winter. I know it is the dog days of summer still but it is better to plan ahead right?
I want reliable, fast, and efi. I would also prefer not have to wrench on it hardcore all the time. Does a ported 1300 or 1390 fit this bill? And will a guy like my self beable to put it all together? Will the motor have to come out or can it do the work in the hull?Last edited by Chrisrokc; 08-07-2007 at 04:39 PM.

my 1300 ported is more reliable than any stock ski i have had........... i run the dog sh#t out of it and it just keeps going and going. put almost 100 hrs on it sincelast year at WOT ....... i run both gaskets and have 155psi giving up a little speed for reliability it worth it to me. the 1400 IMHO is not as reliable(yet)

chris, I think with a good amount of other mods, plate, prop correctly etc. I would belive a guy could do upper 70's and with a lot of tuning work possibly 80. just my .02
