400hp+ Rxp
Hi Guys,
we want to build a 400HP+ RXP over here. This should be based on a '07 RXP and be a Supercharged, not turbocharged conversion!
Has anybody tried this?
What Supercharger would we need (watercooled)?
What boost do we need to achieve the 400HP?
We will start our project in one week and would love to gather as much ideas and information untill then.
Any input is welcome!!!!
Cheers,

you would have to get rid of the OEM Supercharger and find a way to do a belt Driven one like a vortech or Procharger. Would be very difficult to do Good Luck.
Think about it this way 400 hp is around 133 hp / cylinder if it was a 6 cylinder you should be making 798 hp (Very Hard to do with a supercharger)
Use a rotax intercooler works fine at over 1 bar .
Injectors Rule of the Thumb 5 cc / hp given there is enough fuel pressure
< 40psi
133hp / cylinder = 665 cc so you would need 70 lb injectors
Wish you all the best Hope this helps you you have a long way to go

yep, we definitely need to get a new SC and IC. Belt driven seams the way to go! The SC should be watercooled as well!
We also think we definitey need forged pistons.
Thanks verymuch for the other date, this is highly apreciated
Let's see what else we can think off

OK, 1,2 bar boost, pistons and conrods, Rotax IC....
Does anybody have a suggestion on the supercharger itself?
Also, a programmable ECU would be a must...which one is the best and where can we get it?

SC
I'd look into a Procharger or Vertex (SP)

procharger model D1SC, it will move serious air w/o spinning it high, but belt-driving off a 4-tec is going to be fun......................

If you're going to go through all the work of doing a completely different SC setup then why not go turbo?
Is there some advantage to staying SC vs. TC?
