wear ring cavitation guoge?
I pulled off the pump to inspect it after the ski felt like she was cavitating. I noticed this cavitation guoge at the 7 o'clock mark on the inside of the wear ring. The wear ring is new and has only 10-15 hours on it (no salt water).
I checked the ring to impellar clearance and it is 0.20mm, well within spec according to the manual (0.6mm max).
Is this ring toast or will it be OK or should I fill it with something?
Sorry for no pic, but I came back to edit the post and I get the message I don't have permission?????????Last edited by qbzonk; 08-04-2007 at 07:34 PM.
