riva power flow kit vs stock air box
being the stock air box does not have any filter media and the riva kit does would you say they flow about the same rate ? .... could you remove the filter from the riva kit as well for maximum air flow ?????

I have run my "HD" intake without the filter, may have picked 10 to 20 RPMs, but I dont think its worth the risk, as I have collected all kinds of things on my filter, including a whole dragon fly
, and all kinds of dust.I think the benefit is getting the stock air box out to open the inside of the hull up and get better air flow over the engine compartment,

I also keep the cover on mine. The first ride after it was installed, it collected quite a bit of dirt and dust. (Sorry Harry, no dragon flies)
