Anyene ever use Duckbill drains
I saw alot of Yamahas with these at the last mudbug.
Im thinking if you use these you can get rid of the stock bailer tube system, remove the bailer tubes from the venturi, jb weld the holes and possibly gain some speed?

didnt you post pics onetime of an RXP at WF with these drains on it?
it only makes sense.. it certainly can't make the ski slower that's for sure

I've got them on and they work... But there really not needed (If in a pinch) there are check balls on the drain holes. The one danger is; if you get a piece of ziptie in one it could leak, it hasn't yet though.

why not eliminate the bailers all-together, JB weld the venturi, leave the stock drain plugs, and install a bilge bump?

I'd be surprised if you got a quarter out of it.

where the pussy seals up is the problem, they get old and leak, but the ball valve on the new style drain plugs would help. I had a ski sink back in the 90's and I swore I'd never use them again. The bailer lines work good and I saw no gains in messing with them, I also have a bilge pump on mine

I've used them on my last 4 skis and liked them a lot. No probs with them leaking. Just never got around to putting them on my RXP.

Sounds like it broke a piston skirt or a rod. Eitherway, not good. You say...
