dual trailers... what rims?? keep blowing out
what size rims and tires do u guys use. i have a dual comfab trailer. it had little 8x6 or so tires on it but i took those off cause i travel interstate sometimes. currently i have 15x7s which work great for the road, but even with my hitch extension its to hard to launch the skis. i cant seem to find a 13x6 5 lug anywhere. or 12x6 or so that would be ok too.
any suggestions.

I run 13" radials. I got my wheels from www.summitracing.com. I've seen wheels/tire combos at places like walmart and menards. Or you can order from www.easternmarine.com

I am running goodyear ST185/80R13-C's on a dual trailer with an RXT, an Ultra 250, and a front-mounted tool/lockbox. The rolling package weighs in around 2900lbs. I run the tires at 50 psi. I have had no problems with these tires at all; however, I've never pulled the trailer more than about 80 miles at a time. I do pull it at 80-90 mph though.
They are the highest load rated 13" tires I could find. I don't believe anyone makes any of those short and wide 10-12" beach tires in a high enough load rating to put on a dual trailer without going to twin axles.
Maybe you could make them into dually wheels and stretch the fenders to cover 'em, put some mudflaps on it with those chrome naked chick silhouettes. That would look cool on a trailer...
Here is a table from Goodyear with their tires and ratings:
