going from 14/19 to 15/20 need advice,.....
Hey fellas,......I need to go from a 14/19 to a 15/20 prop. Do I need to change out the wear ring to accomodate the new prop? Would it just be a prudent move?
I have been adding things to my ride and want to build her right.
So far:
Piranha IC, Riva Air intake 3", Had Jerry do the washers, bearings and a stage 3 Imp on the SC, will be putting Riva through hull and RE block offs next week.

Oh yeah,.So far, it runs around 8100 - 8180 rpm's,.....GPS'd @ 72.1, 72.2, 72.1 3 runs, full tank, low seating position, 2 cups of coffee, 95 air, 86 water temps rippled surface @ Havasu. Hope that helps,...I read many prop threads and I'm still confused,.........Jerry says to up it to a 15/20 and anyone that goes 91.8 mph on a PWC is my friggin' hero,............nuff said.Last edited by travelboysteve; 07-28-2007 at 08:47 PM.

Dont need to change the wear ring.
It would be prudent at this juncture(George Bush may not think so)
You should be close to 75 or better with that prop set up correctly.

what brand of coffee? Also, I find that decaf actually slows me down about .5 mph. A double shot of expresso helps it come on plane quicker. I add a shot of Bailey's to my coffee and it seems to help quite a bit as I tend not to let off after I pin the throttle back.

Well Sir, we use the espresso type, brand unimportant, but decent, as we have a little espresso maker I picked up for our trips which pushes the go go juice through @ 9 atmospheres of pressure just fine. Add a little french vanilla creamer and mmm mmm good. makes me ride like this
, only with goggles on,.....
wanna buy a prop?
