have a good laugh, i did the unthinkable
it was a nice warm day, early tide all 3 of us were at the ramp, dropped my ski in first steve and john got there's in, was just about to set off and noticed the back of my gpr was LOW! damn chit left my bungs in the car! managed to get my ski back on john's trailer but it was too late the salt water was over my air box. Once out drained water had a good laugh at how stupid i am for this rookie mistake. Removed plugs, cranked for 2 minutes on and off, reinstalled plugs, after 20 seconds of further cranking it fired so dropped it straight back in the water, warmed the engine up and ran it as hard as i could WOT for the best part of 40 minutes, for the remainder of the 2 and half hours out tried to run it as hard and fast as possible until i had used a complete tank of fuel.
Once home mixed 2 litres of oil with 4 litres of fuel, and ran that through the ski on the hose pipe for half hour, removing spark plugs adding neat oil and refitting plugs 3 or 4 times.
As expected the ski smoked like a bastard on the hose, removed plugs added neat oil when piston on bottom to each cylinder, replaced plugs.
Do you think my 3 hours of running very hard has evacuated all the water or should i pull the engine?
Hope the above as amused you as much as it did my friends and i quote from steved "mr organised left his bungs out, prick"
Paul

SLOOOOW DOWN Paul! Everything is fine and you have no problems
take a deep breath and stick to your original plan. Step away from the engine.
