Compression Adapter Question
Hey Guys, I am looking at a 95 yamaha waveraider 700 today and I need to know if there has to be a special adapter for the compression test? I also am looking at a 92 kawasaki 750ss and the same question applies. Thanks for the help.

Hello, welcome to the forum !
when you purchase a new compression gauge, they usually come with all the adapters and fittings you need to check compression on all engine spark plug fittings.

I saw somewhere that other than the 14mm or 18mm you need different lenghts for different manufacturers. Like 3/4 inch versus 1/2 inch. Does that make sense

I think it would be safe to say that "most" if not all 2-stroke Yamaha's are 14mm x 13/16" hope that helps ya.
