12 volt low warning, where is rectifier?
My buddy's 05 GTX SC, gave a 12 volt low warning today, back at my house we tested the battery, 12.31v , then while cranking, 10.83v.
Then tested while reved to about 4k, only 12.04v.
So it looks like the rectifier is bad, where is it located, and how hard is it to change it?

it is mounted in the top side of the airbox up front along side the gat tank...
open hood to have access to front storage compartment, remove basket if so, remove pins/darts that hold the plastic panel (where fire extinguisher is mounted on) to have access to rectifier...your there...PR...

I could be wrong, but I would bet on the battery being bad.

It is the original battery, how can I be sure which one is the problem?

You can take a clamp on ammeter and put it around one of the battery cable. When the battery is fully charged, it should have very little current. If the alternator is bad, the ski would draw current from the battery.
The alternator should float charge the battery. In this situation it is at a higher voltage than the battery. It does look like you have a bad alternator as your voltage is below floating voltage.

if you have a manual, there is a way to test/prove the circuits. If you have to replace it, PITA with engine in the hull. Just like if you were doing a clean out from a SC disaster, siphon out oil, drain antifreeze, remove SC and everything related in the way, remove drive shaft, thermostat, left side motor mount bracket, etc...
I`m sure someone with better knowledge will step in here and give you a simpler way to R&R electrics or the know how to test/prove the circuits.
Note*FYI: if you had a SC ceramic failure, there were instances when the internal wires were severed or shorted when ceramics let go...PR...
