Islandia & HP Questions
Hey All,
I have had a speedster with twin 85's for 3 years now and love it. I'm looking at steppin up to an used / new islandia. I know its a completely different animal night and day but what should I look at for engines. I dont need to be the fastest thing on water, but I dont want a slug either. 1/2 the family wants a party barge the other wants watersports so I figure this is the best comprimise.
And ANY other suggestions or comments on them would be great. Thanks in advance

Twin 4-tec 155 HP for a total of 310 HP would be your best bet....i got an 05 challenger (18 footer) with a single SCIC 215HP engine, and it's slow...so i would go for anything 300+ HP for that quite big party barge...!!!

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. DAM the price is a huge jump to the twins. Although the reliability and easy maintenace of them is the big push and the extra 5-9mph.
Its amazing the lack of Islandia owners around. I'm really suprised. I have done a LOT of searching the net and cant come up with much.
