Finally a new member to the 80+ club!!
I got the word from TheDome yesterday evening, he hit 80.5 in Morgan City. This has been the goal ever since he purchased the ski, and finally it has happened. He is thrilled to say the least. He will be in Morgan City until Tuesday, so there may be more to come. We want to thank everybody that was involved in getting this 1300 to 80mph. WFO made a visit to our hometown last weekend and did his magic. He definetly has came through for us. TheDome won't be back near a computer until Tuesday or Wednesday so stay tuned for his story on this, it will be comical I am sure.

congrats to him, all of your talk round here is making me dream of 75+ on my stock but not for long 02 gpr.
i got a plate from jim last week and I am about to send my 02 off to the doctors for some major surgery.
I hope over the next few months I can get an extra 10-20mph out of my ski, after reading more threads in here then I care to count it is all starting to finally make sense as to how you all do achieve these gains, well i think it is starting to hehe.
keep up the good work

I just talked to him again this afternoon. He is still on cloud 9. He took it somewhat easy on the GPR today since he hit the big 80 and just enjoyed most of the day at cruising speeds. Having said this, he still squeezed the trigger a few times and ran 80+ at will, back to back in both directions. To further explain how easy the ski is now hitting 80, listen to the following.
After a long and serious discussion with his wife about the ins and outs of high speed runs, she mounted the Black Beast. She made two 80+ passes!! She rides an Ultra 250 and has much less experience than me or Todd.
