steel washers
so me and big johnson just changed out the ceramic washers for the steel ones and i am scratching my head, for starters i am annoyed with brp for putting these crappy ceramic washers in in the first place and why isnt this a recall issue? and then 100.00 for two little steel washers??? somebody is making some dough on this one because i cant see it costing 100.00 for two little washers that couldnt cost more than .50 cents to make. well i guess if thats all it takes to make this beast bullet proof then so be it but 100.00 smakers for a couple of washers is crazy

They obviously aren't worth $100 because people have to make profit off of their products, but these aren't regular washers. They go through an actual process of being made. Supposedly each is very labor intensive. Do a search. You're not the first one who has thought these are washers like you could buy at the local hardware store. They aren't though

the install was fairly easy to me took about 1 1/2 start to finish and this was my 1 st time doing them, though i have turned a lot of wrenches in my time, from building and racing 8 second dragbikes to working on my detroit diesel, and even R & R-ing 2 chevy small blocks in my brother tahoe and Z-71... if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and can follow directions you will be fine... if your local, i will swing by and help you out... that goes for anyone in jax...
