98 SLTH
I have a 98 SLTH with everything taken apart on the motor. I have a clymer service manual coming, but I was wondering what the specs were on the crank installation, what to check for and look for, and any numbers you might have to use as guidelines. I have a dial indicator and can measure the crank 'trueness' so those specs would be nice. Any other tid bits of info would be great since I have only rebuilt top ends so far. Thanks in advance,

FL, go to the tech section and under Engine Domestic you will find the engine rebuild directions.

I read the domestic engine post, good info. How can I tell when to rebuild the crank (checking main bearings and rod bearings)? As far as I can tell by look and feel they are ok.
