GPS Recommendation?
Ok, so the wipeout I took ate my GPS, as well as made me walk with a limp for 2 weeks. Took a while; the unit kept working for about a week before dying. My old one was a Magellan 315.
I'm looking for something wearable, with either a large speed display or possibly a memory to recall max speeed. (the reason I wiped out was I took one hand off the bars to pull the GPS out of my vest)
Not interested in spending a ton of money, or maps and such. Really I just want an accurate speedometer.
Any recommendations?
Michael

Good lord! That's more than I spent for 3 of my 4 skis, combined! Looks really nice, though. I'm looking for something I can take from ski to ski, preferrably wearable.
Still haven't totally given up on my Magellan, I just baked it in the toaster oven at 150deg for an hour. Now it doesn't have a bunch of lines, it has a bunch of wavy lines! Not sure if that's an improvement.....

I posted a wanted to buy, and a couple guys spoke up. The one I got was a Cobra (72 I think? really bad reviews on the net) but it has everything you asked for. It worked well for me so far. Speed, max speed etc... And it came with a handle bar clamp (accessory you can purchase) that tightens with one bolt. So you could tranfer it pretty easily.
