Any input on Pro Tec ride plates?
Just wondering what everyone thought of Pro-Tec ride plates, looking for a plate for my XLT and Pro-Tec is by far the cheapest and by photos looks similiar to the Riva.

I tested a handful of different rideplates way back in the day when my ski was doing high 60's. I loved the protec at the time, because I believe it has more angle built in from the factory. I also remember trying it again as my ski got faster, and it was too loose for me. But overall, it was a quality unit.

Depends, There is no better rough water plate than the stock plate. It may be .5 to 1 mph than a stock plate in smooth water.
