Help on a pump
I have a 02 RX that I am setting a stock rebuilt engine into. I pulled the pump last night to do the engine alighnment and noticed that the vanes in the pump where chewed up pretty badly. One vane has a fairly large chunk taken out of it so I am figureing a new pump in my very near future so I am figureing since I have to spend the money I would prefer a metal pump. Any recommendations on what pumps I should be looking at? Not really looking for added performance but if I get that without alot of added expence I'll take it. Thanks, Karl

well the plastic pump is actually a preferred oem pump among seadoo owners, so unless you're just dead set on a metal one I'd stick with another stocker, should be able to pick one up for fairly cheap and unless your riding grounds were an old gravel road you shouldn't break the new one anytime soon...

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll go back with the plastic pump. Thanks again. Karl
