05 1300R no spark
My 05 1300R was running great all day, then I went through a long no wake zone. It seemed like it was loading up a little, so I hit the throttle and it cleared up. Ran it for a few more minutes then shut it off. Went to start it again and nothing. Got back to the shore and it has no spark at all. I checked the on off switch, bypassed the efi controller, unhooked the temp sensors, checked all connections. Nothing seems to make any difference. It also didn't show any codes. I'm lost!

Hello Bryan is the check engine light beeping, And also check to see if the throttle is stuck open because that will kill the spark.

Check the little grommett in the throttle cable at the finger throttle. If it comes out it may not let it go back to "idle". If you have the pipe off, reach down and manually close the fuel rail back to idle. it should get fire then. If it does, hit it with some wd-40 and work it free.
It could also be your battery going dead.

My problem was actually the throttle position sensor itself. I didn't get a code the first few times it happened either. Looks like I had a leaking hose that was dripping right over the tps which killed the sensor. Like Carver said make sure the throttle is closed completely or it will kill the spark.

got a shop to diagnose with laptop
showed TPS fault,,,but they couldn't pull-it apart or swap it over for another week, because of a backlog of work/ services etc...spring time down-ere
.
took it home cause the Pro was on the trailer and wanted to ride-it
.
what a bitch pullen the pipe out first time
any-one know what resistance or how to test these TPS's
.
i've tried, flickin things, re-setting rails, adjusting throttle cable, still no spark
gotta buy a Torx set
