i have look on a pic about the rr thru hull exaust and i see it use a reducer to connect the pipe to the waterbox.
why they don't use the same diameter?

I don't think its a reducer. It's just a silicone coupler.

Yep, just a coupler, not a reducer.

there's no inspection.... there's no manual on board a patrol boat or CG boat about the stock specs of a ski. we're not altering the emissions really by changing the exhaust... we're changing sound only. It's not like we're removing a catalytic converter out of the car or anything...
rip that stock junk outta there!!

we're far behind any cigarette boats db's with a power pipe or thru-hull.... the aftermarket exhausts aren't even that loud, they aren't going to bother u
just like cars after certain time at night, apparently my subs in the trunk can't be pounding at 3am in residential neighborhoodsno one bothers you

just a thought, this is from the PA fish and boat commission
● PWC must be equipped with an efficient muffling system or device in good working
order. Exhaust systems may not be modified in any manner that reduces or eliminates
the effectiveness of the muffler or muffler system.

The part description for the waterbox is 'muffler'. The plastic piece is called a resonator in the description. I say the thru hull is OK. A waterbox mod might not be, but who's gonna know the difference?
