Thank you, BUT I'm just a newbie that pays close attention to the real Polaris gurus. Glad she ran better, now check out the tuning tips for rookies and see if we can get it too accel. hard. I'll be willing to bet the carbs need cleaned or the low speed jets need to be bumped up a tad. You get a MPH reading from that 750 yet?

Negative!!! They are SOOOOO simple it's not even funny. You wrenched on Moto X bikes, you'll totally be able to open up Mikuni Super BN 38's. Toughest part is getting the nuts off the bottom of the carbs while in the hull. Use a 12mm stubby wrench to do it. Just record your adj screw settings (turns out from LIGHTLY seated position) and put them EXACTLY back the way they were before you cleaned them. They are all different, so pay close attention to which one was which. The only gaskets you may need is for the carb to manifold if it tears. Most guys on here re-use the gaskets, myself included, and the carbs have seals that are re-useable. Should you tear a gasket and don't want to wait, or order gaskets, go to a auto parts store and pick up a sheet of gasket material. Then trace the stocker and use an Exacto knife or razor blade to cut some new ones. Trust me you can do it.
