Will this 4" adapter work?
I took it off the Yamaha, as I did the 4" flex hose Im going to use, saw it as a nice 90* bend...Will it work, Im not sure if it can handle the heat well? It looks sturdy enough...

Thats a really restrictive set up. you've got a 6-8 inch section of 3 inch tube with a 90 degree elbow in it. Buy the adapter that R&D has and attach your hose directly to it.

GEO I used a 3" to 4" silicone 90 degree elbow, then I used 4" black plastic pipe from lowes 9 (I call it drainage pipe) to run up front it comes in 10' sections and one end is smaller and it fit just inside the 4" part of the 90 ( clamp here) I could not belive how easy and cheap (around 20) for the complete set up I am not running a filter

I agree with the 90* reducing elbow, but wouldn't it be kinda the same as I have now?.....I might try the filter rings. The SS filter has different sized ring and I belive there is one 3-4" in there....Maybe I can use that to put it up directly onto the SC....
I want a RUDE CHARGER DAMMIT!

the 90 that I used goes to 4" just after the flange on the SC where the one you have is 3" through the 90 so you have several inches of 3" pipe
I need to take a picture of mine
