rxt sc questions
Hi all I'm new to the forum and I had a couple of questions before i get my ski. I'm going to get a 05 rxt with 47 hours. I test rode it and it seemed to run like a scalded ape. So I think the sc is in proper workin order, but from what Ive read I plan on changing the washers before I start riding it because I tend to abuse my toys. Just wondering if i should change anything else while its apart like the bearings or springs or are they good for a while. I plan on getting the parts from 4tech since they are local. Any help is much appreciated.
TIA mongo

Welcome to the forum Mongo!
well your bearings are already approaching 1/2 their life span, so I would most likely install a new shaft kit along with those metal washers. There is also a bearing upgrade as well, there is ceramic bearings, but it`s up to you if you want to go that route for a few more ducketts. You could remove the SC and send it off to GH for a rebuild, or purchase the necc toold from the store and do it yourself... If you plan on modding the ski at all, now is a good time to also upgrade the SC wheel (impeller) but you would need to follow up with other mods to really benefit it`s gains...Hope this helps you out!...PR...

Thanks Pale, I went to the site but I couldn't find where it says anything about services provided or cost to do the rebuild.
