1998 Polaris SLXH 1050 will not start
Turns over great, wont fire.
13 volts on batter, 12.6 volts thile trying to start
MFD was reset, no longer displays LOPr
I have around 4 volts coming off of each on the small coil wires
Grounds for Battery and Electrical box are good
Removed the kill switch wires and tried, nothing
Red/Purple wire going to CDI Box does have 12 volts
Brown wire coming FROM CDI box is carring 9 volts while cranking
Using a 9 volt for the brown wire on the STATOR side and ground negitive yielded no spark still
Checked for spark by using a spark plug held against a bolt thats grounded....Cannot see spark on any 3, However...
When using an OHM meter on AC voltage, The cylinder closest to the front of the bike had around 1.4 volts. The middle one had around 4 volts, and the one to the rear of the bike had .1 volts.
Trimmed the plug wire 1/4 inch on the boot side of the wire and got no improvements.
Any other suggestions on what I should do next?
Take to a dealer?

Buy yourself a shop manuel and go through the stator testing instructions. DONT TAKE TO DEALER, you can trouble shot this yourself it sounds like you have a decent knowledge of mechanical skills. More than likely its your stator, they are known to fail often!! The book will pay for itself many many times!!!!

If it were mine I'd buy the update kit which replaces the stator and CDI. Part number is 2873091 and updates all 900 and 1050 through 1998

Just ordered it.....370.00! Better be worth it and not go out on me, I'll be so angry. Sure hope this is what the problem is, Will be here this Friday. Any tips on removing the Stator without pulling the motor? Any ideas on how to make sure this is exactly what is wrong?

The only other thing you could do is go through the stator testing procedure BUT from what you posted I think you found your problem.
I'm also showing 327. plus free shipping from Atlantic Powersports.

send yours to jetskisolutions. they will test your stator and give you the results pretty cheap. Both mine tested out OK....Was the flywheel needing to be replaced.
