rave valves..1 good...one gunked
Pulled the rave valves last night to clean them up and was amazed at how different they were with regards to "gunk". The pto side one was fairly clean with some oil on it, but otherwise sludge/grime free. However the mag side one had all kinds of hard carbon build up on it, but almost zero oil residue. Hehe so one was dry and dirty, the other was wet and clean. Is this typically normal to have some variation in dirt levels? I looked at the pistons and both looked pretty good. Both raves moved freely as well .

When taking apart the rave valves you will see that there is a black o-ring. These get worn out, its time to replace them.
