Bilge system on 1995 slx780
I was wondering if this is a siphon system and should I install a bilge pump for future security? if anyone has a diagram of the siphon system and places to check for clogging, your help would be appreciated.

I like to use one electric and one syphon.
The electric is great if the boat can't run and/or is taking on water.
I'd make sure ALL the lines and connectors are clear of debris.

Mine doesn't have the screens on the pick ups. I need to do that since I clogged mine once already this year. Real simple system Eroach, just clean out the hoses and SS tubes on the venturi like Ph20 said.

I use hose clamps at least on the hull fittings the rest are OK with zip ties as long as you route the hoses as shown! those elbows need to be up high and in place because they have tiny holes in them that prevent a reverse siphon effect that could fill your hull up if the boat is just sitting in the water Z

What if I dont have those elbows I have been having issues of my ski filing up with water I thought it may have a leak somewhere

I'd start filling the boat with water and then crawl under it and see where the leak is. Don't let the water level raise to the electrical box.
Out of the water on a trailer of course, while filling.

bilge installment
Should I try to install the bilge or have a local shop do it?

Find your leak first and see what that's going to take.
The electric bilge is a pretty simple install as well. If you can open the electrical box you can install the bilge pump.
