97 spx hose question
i have a 97 spx.when cleaning the engine compartment today i found a hose that goes from a small outlet on the side (right) of the hull to the back and it wasnt connected to anything. any idea where it might go. i looked all over and cant find anyplace that seems to have a missing hose. thanks for the help.
cheers

It's the lead-acid battery vent tube. If you have a gel then that's why it is loose, because there is nothing to connect it to. Plug it with a golf tee to prevent water entering the hull.

i do have a gel,so that would make sense....but am i to understand that these things spew battery acid out the side of the hull and into the lake?besides the environmental issue wouldnt it leave marks on the side of the hull?
